October 2026 Newsflash

As promised in our recent October newsletter, we now have full details of the Christmas Light Show event in Silverstone! This will be our second time attending this iconic venue to participate in the international Christmas Light Show being prepared by Simon of Xlightshows.

The event is on the afternoon and evening of Friday 11 December 2026. We have managed to keep the tickets to £10 each, and free for our paid supporters. If you are a free member, why not consider upgrading your membership now and access this event for free, plus lots of bonus features for our paid supporters.

We have also negotiated a special discount with Silverstone if you want to undertake the Lap of Lights which you can drive around after our Light Show - see below for details.

Christmas Tesla Light Show at Silverstone - and enjoy the Silverstone Lap of Lights too!

Friday 11 December gates open 2pm, last entry 5pm to allow for set up for the show at 7pm.

You only need one ticket per car to access to the Christmas Tesla Light Show - so bring the family for just £10 - or for free if you are a paid supporter (use your discount code from your account section in the TOUK website). 

We will start setting up the light show with member cars from 2pm and if you want to be at the heart of the action please do arrive by 4.30pm, but you are able to take part if you arrive by 5pm. Later arrivals will be at the discretion of Silverstone staff. This then gives Simon and the volunteers about an hour to do the final layouts.

When your car is parked up in the display, you are then able to enjoy the various elements of the Silverstone Christmas displays including visiting Santa in his garage, ice skate, curling, visit the museum or maybe even fit in a karting session. Most of these activities take part in the Formula 1 paddock area and are available to book individually with Silverstone. In addition there will food and refreshments and toilets. 

We expect the light show briefing to be around 6.30 to 7pm, so the earlier you arrive, the more you can enjoy with Silverstone's Christmas activities and then be back by your car for the show.

Your ticket includes your special USB stick which you are free to keep at the end of the event. This will be distributed once all the cars are in formation prior to the light show.

You will also have the opportunity to get your latest club merch in time for Christmas, support Xlightshows by checking out Simon's line of apparel, and Tesla will also be attending with a selection of Christmas temptations.

We will send ticket holders access arrangements closer to the date. If you would like to be a volunteer to help set up the gazebos, check people in or help with the car layouts, please contact Jenni@teslaowners.org.uk to register - we have 2 hour slots from 12 noon in the Friday right through to the final 6-8pm

Please note that to take part in the light show itself you need to have a compatible Tesla. This means that all legacy right hand drive Model S and X are sadly not able to take part, but you are welcome to obtain your ticket and park in our dedicated legacy area and enjoy the fun. If we have enough Model X attend, we might even have an X dance before the main event!
